I Bought The Itunes Version And Have Problems.....

hey

i bought the iTunes version of the new album from chaos to eternity and i though that i had the complete album...... it comes with all the songs in MP3 format and a digital booklet as PDF file....

and also the dark secret saga wiki page and it seems that there are missing pages from the booklet ! ! ! ! :(

the booklet that i got in PDF is missing pages from the Dark Secret Saga so i cant understand the whole story.... it actually only contains the first page called 'The Dark Secret Revealed'
but the 'Aelin and Mornir ' page from that facebook photo and i guess even more pages that i havent seen yet are totally missing......

i paid the full price for iTunes and i dont get the whole Dark Secret Saga ? thats not fair..... :(

Can anyone scan the booklet from the CD version or maybe type the Dark Secret Saga ? (I prefer a scan but got no problem if you have no scanner and you can only type it in..... very close and clear photographs of the booklet could work too)

i hope that you can help me.....................

I've heard tons of artists from drum'n'bass, dubstep, hip-hop sampling the mighty Rhapsody of Fire. Now it's hard to believe a fan has never came across plagiarism of this band's work at some point. Why do you think other artists sample RoF? Are they lazy leechers and uncreative? Or the sound is too awesome that it can't be helped?

In the RoaTF booklet under "additional musicians" where it says female narrator it says "Nadja Bellir". Now correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't it say "Nadia Bellir" with an "i" instead of a "J"?

Meet & Greet in Charleroi, Belgium

Last Friday, a couple of us got together and went to see Rhapsody in Charleroi, Belgium. I won't say much about the actual concert (which was great), this is not the place for that. What I will say however, and will show you, is that all of us met the guy's from Rhapsody! All of us, that is Polina (Kalina), Tim (TechThing), Ann-sophie (Princess ...) and me.

Well, we bugged Karsten a lot to arrange something, and Tim did his part as well (well, a very big part but don't let him know I said that). So in the end, we got the organization to call Nadia and we met her first! She then helped us get our cameras back (they were put away when we came in) and then guided us backstage. This is were we met Luca! Personally, I thought he was a really great guy, very friendly, very funny, very open and jovial. We talked for a while and then got back to the hall, to await the concert. The first two bands were... decent. Won't comment on them too much, let's just say that I wasn't all that interested in them. Then came Rhapsody, and there was bliss. Not the kind of bliss as when I first saw them, but good bliss in any case. I've listened to them for more then 10 years, so there wasn't really anything new.

Then after the concert, Nadia called us back backstage, and we met the other guys of Rhapsody as well! Well, almost all the other guys, Alex wasn't in the mood to meet anybody, so we respectfully left him to his dinner. Luca then arrived in a t-shirt and with a towel wrapped around him, because he had taken a shower (I think). Funny sight. We had the most awesome talk with him, very friendly and open. (not too open, since by then, he was already wearing his pants again) After a while, we said our goodbyes and left for home happily.

Polina and me may see them again in Bloodstock for the MetalCast, but that will all depend on the management of BOA, I guess. We'll know in 6 months.

Here, I think there are lots of musicians on this board and I think a topic for Tabs would be good. (whether it is guitar tabs, bass tab or drums tabs ;-) )

And since there is no guitar tabs for the intro riff of Lost in Cold Dreams (yep, the acoustic riff), I'd like to know if anyone managed to play it by ear and would be willing to make a small tab for me. (It can be inaccurate as long as it is quite the song. )

i wonder what would it be like if RoF would make an unplugged concert (making DVD out of it of course). imagine them playing their music in a different kind of way, probably with a small ensemble and choir. wouldn't it be fine? i think it would be magical.
imagine playing some songs like emerald sword in an acoustic (classical, baroque, rennasant) way.

Has anyone noticed about what is said in the chorus verse of "Virus" the single of mighy Luca Turilli's Dreamquest "New Horizons" album?

Oh yeah! In fact there are several "lyrical" concepts being repeteated along different Rhapsody and Luca Turilli's songs there are many, like in the intros, I remember the intro of the LP Kings of the Nordic Twilight containing several references to other Rhapsody previous and forhcoming intros. Can you find more?

OFF FORUM: I remember quite many years ago Luca recording Dreamquest second album and being "orgasmic" about it... what about that?

Is There A Possibility To Get The Song Immotal New Reign?

I was wondering if there is a possibility to get the song for those people who bought the strictly limited edition (like me :-)), since there is no way to get the japanese song in a CD because I am not from that country. Maybe, as a costumer-focused service, it would be cool to let the people who have that product and paid more for it (there is only 500 in the world) to have access to download the song or something like that.

If it is not possible, i would appreciate if you kindly let me know how to get it or if it is possible to officially get it.

I'm desperately searching for the Promo Posters for these two Rhapsody releases:

- RHAPSODY - RAIN OF A THOUSAND FLAMES
- RHAPSODY - POWER OF THE DRAGONFLAME

All these posters are in A2 format (about 40cm x 60cm), and all with the wright "LIMB MUSIC PRODUCTS proudly presents" on the top.
They are usually attached on the wall in some CD stores, or were disposable together with the relative releases, if these were bougth via mail order.
Maybe some of you knows what I'm talking about.

Whoever wants to get rid of them, or ha sthese ones and doesn't want to give them away, contact me anyway. I can also pay costs for copying them in Photocopiers (sionce they are really rare)

Rhapsody Of Fire Merchandise

I am a great fan of Rhapsody of Fire, and I am a great fan of merchandise: shirts, hoodies, patches etc... But unfortunately, it's very hard to find Rhapsody of Fire merchandise in Europe. Now that they have a deal with Nuclear Blast, it should be quite easy to get some merch, right?

So this is my wish/question/... for the band and crew: will the release of the new album be accompanied by the release of new merchandise? Some shirts and patches? I don't know what the influence of the band is concerning the merchandise, but if they can do anything about it, listen to the fans! Unless I am the only one lusting for shirts and patches...

Manuel avait entendu des d�mos que j�avais �crites, �a lui a plu et il s�est propos� d��crire pour nous. Comme j��tais � l��poque tr�s occup�e � apprendre les rudiments de la gestion de groupe et que j�avais laiss� le process de composition un peu de c�t� comme on en parlait tout � l�heure, j�ai accept� car d�une part ces chansons sont super, d�autre part nous voulions avoir du mat�riel � proposer pour que les gens aient une id�e de ce que nous voulions faire. Les chansons du EP se retrouvent sur l�album. � Apocalypse � a �t� compos�e par Manuel et Joey De Maio s�est occup� des lyrics.

Lee, the fact is that "he" has formed a new band "influenced by Rhapsody of Fire" also, I found it very funny, just consult the MYSPACE profile (in which Rhapsody appear as his friend just next to... Luca Turilli Singing?

I read in an interview that when Rhapsody of Fire (as Thundercross) first started, Luca Turilli sang as well as played guitar.

Has anybody heard him sing? The oldest tracks I could find on youtube are the Land of Immortals songs with vocals by Cristiano Adacher.

New Age, New Questions!

So... now we have a new age ahead of us (I wont say "saga", because... well, y'know...). Rhapsody has signed with the overpowered Nuclear Blast, recorded a new album and have a release date already... so, what can we think about that?

After I read the news, lots of new questions came to my mind:

- Will now the videos be decent? :lol:
- Singles? I know NB is known for the waves of merchandising, but not every band signed with them have flows of singles, eps, etc...
- Uber Limited editions? I think we deserve a super box like SOEL limited edition. If not, better!
- Interviews. We should expect many interviews and new magazine covers with Rhapsody!
- Tour tour tour tour... Now with NB, they can tour a lot of places, and, of course, FESTIVALS \o/ I foresee Rhapsody playing at wacken 2010 :D
- What about Luca solo projects? Still in mcm? Will he sign with other labels? Its done? Will he make new ones?
- Can we expect a dvd with an orchestra? Rage, Therion, Epica... those had shows with an orchestra!
- Its the end of super star guests?
- Will the band be active in the forum? Or at least Luca? They should make a twitter :lol:
- Fabio has co-written a song in the new album... Maybe we can expect more compositions by him? What about patrice and Holzwarth?
- The band photo is really blue.... hmm... The cover artwork will be icy, for sure! I wonder who is the artist. Judging by the details on the band picture, the first name that came to my mind is Genzoman, the guy who made the artwork for fairyland two last albums. But thats only a guess.
- omg two bonus tracks! I wonder if they will be like "age of the red moon", talking about some event of Algalord, of just a random lyric like "autumn twilight". Maybe a cover too? omg omg so much possibilities!
- How many albums this saga will take? Judging by the description they gave us, its clear that this isnt the end of the saga, so we can expect at least one more album for the saga.
- omg digipak! omgomgomgomg rofl

What you guys think? lets talk about the new possibilities we have now! Forget mcm and the legal stuff, lets just think how awesome this is and what we will get now! :D :D :D
